Restrict events or ticket types to members

You can restrict event ticket access to logged-in members and also control the visibility of the public event listing page.

Restrict tickets

  1. Go to Events and select the relevant event. This will take you to the Manage event screen.
  2. Select the relevant ticket type and change the Access level.
  3. Click Save.
Access level Behaviour
Admin Tickets are not displayed on the event page.
Public Tickets are displayed on the event page and can be booked by anybody.
Member only Tickets are displayed on the event page and can be booked by members only for themselves.
Members and guests
Tickets are displayed on the event page and can be booked by members for themselves and their guests.

Restrict the event listing page

  • Go to either the event listing page or the event management page.
  • Navigate to the 'Event settings'.
  • Select the appropriate access level.
Access level Behaviour
Public Anyone with the link can view this content.
Members The title and introduction will be publicly available but only users with an active membership can view the body content.
