Create a segment of people or organisations
A segment is a grouping of people or organisations based on specific criteria. As new contacts match the criteria they are automatically added to the segment. You can create as many segments as needed and use them to filter contacts, create directories or send email broadcasts.
- Go to Contacts > Segments.
- Create new segment and choose whether you wish to include People or Organisations.
- Define your criteria and Save.
If you plan to use your segment to send email broadcasts it is advisable to include Communication type as one of your segment conditions to ensure that you only send emails to people that have opted in to receive them.
