Understand Proxy membership plans

The Proxy membership plan type is designed to allow one person to buy and manage a subscription on behalf of another person. For example, a parent buying a subscription for their child.

• The buyer owns the subscription and is responsible for making payments
• All communication about the membership will go to the owner (not the proxy member)
• The owner will appear in segments that use relevant membership conditions (not the proxy member)
• Both the buyer and proxy member are counted as 'people' in the membership dashboard report
