Understand the stories feature

The Stories feature was originally designed to make it easier to create good-looking long-form stories or case studies on your website. Stories are all displayed automatically on a special page (much like Events, Articles and Resources are). It is also possible to promote Stories to the website home page.

Since stories were first introduced, the tools available for formatting normal pages have improved to the point where Stories no longer offer any particular benefit. In most cases, we recommend creating normal pages for case studies, stories or other long-form content that you don't want to have as a Resource or an Article. This gives the added benefit of being able to move these pages around the menu structure.

Many customers that have been with White Fuse for a long time do use the Stories feature but we don't tend to recommend it to new customers, which is why it is disabled by default.
