Accept online payments

You can accept a range of online payments and the options you offer can be changed for each membership plan and event ticket type. 

Membership subscriptions 

Payment for membership subscriptions can be accepted by:

  • Direct Debit
  • Debit/credit card
  • Manual payment instructions 

You can select which options are offered on subscription forms by editing each membership plan. 

Event bookings

Payment for event bookings can be accepted by:

  • Debit/credit card
  • Manual payment instructions

You can select which options are offered when booking tickets by editing each ticket type. 

Donations

Regular donations can be accepted by:

  • Direct Debit
  • Debit/credit card

One-off donations can be accepted only by debit/credit card only.

Payment processor integrations

You will need accounts with our supported payment processors to accept online payments:

  • GoCardless for Direct Debits
  • Stripe for debit/credit cards

Defining manual payment instructions

Manual payment instructions are sent by email once the transaction has been completed. You can add custom manual payment instructions in  Settings > Payments > Manual.
